Why comparing prices is so hard
The Canadian dental supply market is not easy to compare. Product names and package sizes change from one website to another. Public prices, sale prices, and account prices may all be different. Your staff can spend a long time checking several websites and still be unsure if they found the same item.
Not comparing can cost the practice money. Comparing everything by hand can cost just as much in staff time. DSP is built to reduce that work.
See the public market
Start with categories, suppliers, or a curated comparison. Each public page shows recent Canadian prices, the supplier, the package, and the date we saw the price.
You can browse without an account. Create a free account when you want to search for a specific product or save what you find.
Compare the same amount
DSP groups listings that can be compared and calculates a unit price when the package information is clear. This helps you spot cases where a cheaper-looking box actually contains less product.
The lowest price is a starting point. You still need to check the exact item, package, stock, sale terms, shipping, and whether the product is right for your practice.
Let DSP remember the work
- 1Search
Find a product by name, supplier SKU, manufacturer code, or the words your team normally uses.
- 2Save
Keep the products and comparisons you buy often in one place.
- 3Connect
Where supported, connect a supplier so approved users can see the practice’s private price.
- 4Monitor
Choose important products and let DSP watch for price changes instead of asking staff to check again.
Keep practice prices private
Your supplier connections, saved lists, alerts, history, and account prices stay inside the signed-in practice workspace. They are not placed on public product pages. Learn more in our pricing method.
Check before you order
DSP helps you compare, but the supplier completes the sale. Before ordering, confirm the manufacturer code, package, stock, price, shipping, tax, and sale terms. Your clinical team must decide whether the product is right for the practice.
